Here it is, the first aspen tree of the year. It is a small, regenerating tree dug up from my yard and rooted with the aid of willow tea. Once it has roots and is hardy I will put it outside or plant it. Experience suggests they don’t do well inside. A couple of rooted willows are beside it.
They are hard to grow. I hope this one survives. I think it is wrong that state government makes it so hard to have them.
